TARKOVSKY

MUSEUM AND MEDIA INSTALLATION

The project of the exhibition hall and installation is part of the project of the museum complex dedicated to director Andrei Tarkovsky. This hall was inspired by the film “Andreyi Rublev”. The space of the hall rethinks the space of a traditional Russian temple, and offers its modern interpretation. Strict concrete arches, austerity of decor, subdued light – all this creates an atmosphere of privacy and tranquility. The main focus of the hall is the light fabric domes on which excerpts from the film are projected. In order to feel the path of the main character of the film, the viewer can go through the installations, and literally physically feel it.
